Who we are

This website is operated by Music City Auto Repair, a local auto repair shop at 3464 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076 (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you use our appointment, estimate or contact forms, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, insurance information, your vehicle’s year, make and model, your preferred appointment time, how you prefer to be contacted and any message you write. Please do not include payment card numbers or other sensitive information in a form message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure. To limit spam, our contact form also checks how often requests come from the same connection; it uses a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address that is kept for about an hour and is not stored with your message.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and confirm appointments, prepare for your visit, provide estimates and communicate with you about your vehicle and our services. We also use technical information to protect the website from spam and abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing.

Who handles your information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and the shop, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Appointment and estimate forms. These forms are provided by our online form service (repairforms.goautoworks.com) and appear inside our pages. Information you submit there is stored by that service and sent to the shop.
• Contact form. Messages sent through our contact form are emailed to the shop and stored in our website’s database.
• Hosting and email providers store and transmit website data and email on our behalf.
• Affirm. If you choose to apply for financing, you provide your information directly to Affirm, and Affirm’s privacy policy applies.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Maps, reviews and other services

Our pages can show a Google Map of our location. The map is not loaded automatically: it loads only after you click to show it, and at that point Google may collect information such as your IP address and set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Links to our Google reviews, our appointment form provider and Affirm take you to services that have their own privacy policies.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tools. It sets cookies only where needed to run the site, for example when the site’s administrators sign in. Embedded services described above, such as Google Maps or our appointment form provider, may set their own cookies when you use them. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep information

Contact form messages stored in our website’s database are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received. Appointment and estimate requests are kept by our form provider and in our shop records for as long as we need them to serve you and keep reasonable business records, including any records we are required by law to keep.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access to administrative areas and protections against spam and unauthorized changes to the website. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through our forms.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. See also our Terms of Service.
